Baseball For All: “Our goal is to build gender equity in baseball by providing girls with real opportunities to play, coach, and lead in this sport. On top of it all, we’re a support system, a strong community that ensures that no girl or woman in baseball feels alone.”
BFA Nationals are in Reno Nevada in 2025! July 21-24. Join a team, or make a team. Players can also go as free agents. BFA Nationals are an incredible experience for girls age 6 – 18!
Baseball For All also organizes the Women’s College Club Baseball Championships (see list of colleges with women’s teams below), as well as National and International tournaments.
MLB Develops has a number of excellent programs for girls and women in baseball. We have highlighted a few below, but we recommend you explore everything they offer.
Trailblazer Series: For girls aged 12u, view their page for registration information.
“In 2017, USA Baseball and Major League Baseball launched a new baseball tournament for girls built around Jackie Robinson Day in celebration of baseball’s quintessential “trailblazer.” The objective of the event is to provide playing, development and educational opportunities to girls who play baseball.”
Breakthrough Series: “The Girls Baseball Breakthrough Series is a joint effort on behalf of USA Baseball (USAB) and Major League Baseball. This unique program focuses on developing the players, on and off the field, by providing elite instruction, competitive play, video coverage, seminars and mentorship, all while exposing players to U.S. National Team scouts and collegiate recruiters. The event is cost-free for participants, with USAB covering expenses.
Participants will also have the opportunity to hear from and interact with some of the highest-ranking and most-experienced women throughout Baseball, as well as receive instruction from a coaching staff consisting of current and former members of the U.S. Women’s National Team.”
