Event Page Updated 9/26/2025 – Our next clinic will be at Chatsworth Junior Baseball League on Saturday September 27, 2025. Arrive at 8:45 AM, clinic starts at 9:00 AM. This is a free event for girls.
This clinic will take place on the fields, pitching mounds and possibly in batting cages. Molded rubber cleats recommended. We will also work on sliding – so players may wear sliders if they wish, but they are not required. Because our clinic attendance has been growing steadily, we are structuring this event a little differently than we have in the past. This will allow for more specialized baseball-skills development in smaller groups – with the help of an even larger team of volunteer coaches. Please register in advance:

Clinics are for everyone: you do not need to be on an LA Heat team to participate.
Scrimmages/Simulated Games: We hope to have enough players to run scrimmages in two age groups. Please register early to help us plan.
Communications: We will update this page as more details are solidified. We will also send information by email (to the email address you included on the registration form) closer to the date of the clinic. Emails will come from info@laheat.org
This is Baseball: But softball players are welcome, and so are players of basketball, volleyball, tennis, track… etc. We think you should play many sports, especially baseball.
What to Bring: Water, baseball gear (batting helmet, glove, baseball bat, baseball hat, etc). We will try to have some extra gear to borrow during the clinic.
Footwear: Molded rubber baseball/softball cleats are recommended, we will be on the grass/dirt. Turf shoes, running/gym shoes OK. (no metal cleats)
Clothing: Baseball pants recommended. Long workout pants, joggers OK if you don’t have baseball pants. Jeans and yoga-style pants are not recommended. Shorts are not recommended. Sliders and other protective gear is optional.
