We have a really special event coming up in partnership with UMPS CARE, Baseball For All and the Los Angeles Dept. of Parks and Rec.
A free one-day clinic with instruction from women umpires, in Los Angeles.
It is an opportunity to learn about work/career opportunities in officiating, as well as to learn more about the sport from the officials’ perspective. The event is open to baseball and softball players, aged 11 to 18. Younger players may also register, but keep in mind it is a full day split between classroom and on-field instruction.

While your daughter is participating in the clinic, join Positive Coaching Alliance and the Los Angeles County Department of Youth Development for a conversation about creating more opportunities for girls in sports.
Parents, coaches, volunteers and community leaders will share ideas and help shape an actionable plan around access, girls-only leagues and clinics, activities, volunteer opportunities and other ways to support girls in sports.
The conversation will also highlight the County of Los Angeles Women’s and Girls Initiative and feature guest speakers.
Continental Breakfast & Lunch is provided for parents participating in the discussion.
