BFA Nationals Team Practices and Open Practices
For LA Heat 2026 BFA Nationals teams, please keep an eye on GameChanger for updates to practice schedules.
Because we will be busy with practices over the next few weeks, we’re not going to be able to do a baseball skills clinic this month. However, some of the practices will be open to guests. If you are not on a team but interested in joining a practice please email us to let us know. The practice format is a little different than our clinics, but they are still a good opportunity to have fun and put in some work.

LA49 Tournament Signup Form
Believe it or not, it’s already time to start thinking about December. Please register at the link above if you are interested in joining LA Heat in Arizona this December, 3rd – 6th. It will help us plan for teams and coaches. We’ll put a page up about this tournament soon(ish).

Coach Mike Young (LA Heat, Canyon High School, Reggie Smith Academy) has launched a web-app “My Grind” for baseball players and their parents to record and track their progress toward goals on and off the field. Coach Mike has incorporated his decades of experience helping players and families navigate rec ball, travel ball, high school, college and professional baseball.

Pitching Mounds
This spring, coaches Jeff, Max and Nancy built and donated two portable practice pitching mounds to Chatsworth Junior Baseball League. We felt it was important to give back and support an organization that has been supportive of LA Heat, our daughters, and girls in baseball in general.
